The Blog

He was born the day before his actual due date and on his big brothers due date (two years previously).

Little Jackson Boberg. Second son of Nick and Ella Boberg.  Little, much awaited brother of Nathan.

I picked out his great grandfathers nose immediately, poor little Jackson I giggled.  He had a mass of dark hair which really throw me as I was expecting him to be bald or close to it like his big brother.  Although we knew he wasn't going to be big, he seemed so teeny weeny to me.

Just three short hours after his birth we met him and mum and dad were walking around their birthing unit room like they had just been shopping!  Ella was up, had showered and was absolutely beaming.  I was so relieved she was okay.

We had his newborn session within the first week I believe he was four days old.

I do not pretend to be a newborn photographer but I will take basic shots of newborns.

Important Note:

You have to be so careful when handling them and I urge people looking for a newborn photographer, please please please make sure they have had the correct training as this is a special type of photography and please don't try those gorgeous bendy shots yourself as many are a composite shot (two or more images blended together to get one image).

I have read of so many accidents from parents not wanting to pay for these images but you are buying a newborn photographers knowledge and expertise in handling your precious baby. When it comes down to it surely your newborn is worth that.  Okay enough nagging!

Below are a couple from Jacksons session, captured with love.

The following images were captured a few weeks later when Jackson came to visit, he was six weeks old, how on earth did he get so big in such a short time?

I can't wait to capture their first family session as a family of four I really hope that can happen soon.

Welcome to the family Jackson, you have made a huge impact already and we couldn't love you more if we tried.
