We (Blair, Mike and I) had planned to shoot a 'couples session' which was to be shot in Ohope, it was a place that was special to Blair and Kristina and it was the place that Blair had wanted to propose to Krissy.  Plans had been underway for about two weeks without the knowledge of Krissy which in itself was a huge feat.

Although Blair forgot to mention the stairs though and I almost had a chardiac arrest at one point, I think there were like close to a million and eighteen stairs, I kid you not!  Besides Blair will pay the price of those stairs for many years to come, trust me!

It started off as any other couples shoot or so she thought!  We even threw in the idea of shooting Mikes CD cover just to make sure she wasn't onto us.

And then it was time for the all important question to be popped, but wait one moment while I answer my dam mobile which keeps ringing!

I made the excuse to change lens thus giving Blair time to set the mood for the big question.  Moving Mike and Kerry to a distants that would give the couple privacy and setting myself up with a zoom lens we were ready when Blair was. 

Of course I had tears.  It was emotional there are always going to be tears when its emotional.

And when all is said and captured there was nothing more to do than to pack up and face those bloody stairs again!

Blair I won't be forgetting these stairs in a hurry,  did you hear me Blair, Blair!
