He was born the day before his actual due date and on his big brothers due date (two years previously). Little Jackson Boberg. Second son of Nick and Ella Boberg.  Little, much awaited brother of Nathan.  I picked out his great grandfathers nose immediately, poor little Jackson I giggled.  He had a mass of dark hair which really throw me as I was expecting him to be bald or close to it like his big brother.  Although we knew he wasn't going to be big, he seemed so teeny weeny to me.  Just three short hours after his birth we met him and mum and dad were walking To View More >>

November 22nd, 2020. Moo (my grandson, real name Nathan, aged two) was about to become a brand new big brother which meant that while daddy, mummy and Auntie Tash got to go and have a baby, Moo got to spend the day with Nana (that's me, well one of them) So as they headed out the door it did cross my mind that we could be in for endless hours of tears, possible tantrums and maybe kicking, and that was just his mother hahaha. " There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between the mother and a son." This quote sums up these two perfectly. I had a lovely session with this wee Mumma and her boy Kaiden yesterday afternoon. To say these two have been through a storm is probably an understandment!   A few months ago this beautiful sole was making arrangements for a wedding that is no longer on the cards.  Instead she finds herself making a new home for Kaiden and herself and setting about finding her new normal. I think even the strongest of To View More >>

Last weekend we spent the day in Taupo watching this wee girl competing in another round of her gym comp. This sassy young lady always amazes me when it comes to her gymnastics.  Her effort and determination even when things don't always go her way.  She is at level 'Step Four' She never shows any signs of being disappointed if she doesn't manage to pass on the day, she smiles and carries on.  Even when we talk about it at home she is always 'meh and its not that she doesn't care, she's just not the type of kid to let these things overwhelm her.  She will pass I To View More >>

Our oldest Tash has brought her first home so she is living the dream of having a mortgage.  What an achievement! Grayson is still growing like a weed (he should really stop) he now towers over most of his aunties and uncles not to mention his nana.  He's still playing soccer which is great.  It is a little weird though watching him play now with mini men type creatures I'm sure last year they were just little boys now they have all grown so much. Tayla continues to be the gymnast of the family (although Kade too has taken a liking to his gymnastic events), this week To View More >>
