Welcome

~It's not that your parents love their grandkids more. It's that their grandkids remind them of you as a child. And its like getting to love that version of you all over again ~ Tiktok 2024

Well its that time of the year when I have to change to a new external drive and find a better way of storing and importing files.  One might say I have been putting this task off for a while and if you class two years as a while then that's what we will call it!  Once I kept every file, now anything that won't make the editing cut also gets cut from the computer or external drive.  Its taken weeks and when I say weeks I actually mean months but I think I am finally there.  I had thought previously that I would discard images after six months but I have since changed my mind on this after finding many images that I had thought I would never use - oh how wrong I was!

Both of these images were taken in November 2014 and while I didn't bother editing them at the time that I captured them I did play around with them a few months back.  Every time we pass through Taihape we stop and capture these two derelict homes.  They fascinate me as most old run down homes do and I think of the stories they have to tell.
